My Jack Russell chews on anything rough or textured is their a reason and is there any way to stop him?
If he's a puppy, it's probably because he's teething. It's normal. But to stop him, you have to tell him "no" and take the thing away, and then give him a toy that's his and praise him when he takes it in his mouth. You have to repeat over and over, and eventually he'll understand he's only allowed to chew his toys.

Is he teething? Either way, replace what he is chewing on if it's not acceptable and give him something "rough" you find at your local pet store. I'm just concerned for his safety.
