It could be the begining of ear mites? or could have been bitten by something and the dog scratched till it scabbed?

My Jack Russell Terriers ears have a couple small scabs underneath but the ears arent red. What is it?

it could possibly be from a bite wound from another dog but thats only a guess. if they get red go see a vet immeaditly dogs are very sensitive.

Theres no such breed as Jack Russel they were renamed to Parson Russel like a decade ago

if they look like they are healing fine then i wouldnt worry about it too much as long as he isnt shaking his head (sign of an ear infection) and the scabs dont look infected. if they start to get really red or or ooze then i would head into the vet

maybe earmites.
other than that, i wouldnt worry.
ive ben living with dogs my whole life.
so i should know.
