Yes puppies loose their teeth just like children. They just loose them at a younger age.
you're a good owner to ask though.

If it was a puppy tooth, then it should have fallen out long ago. Dogs generally loose their baby teeth from 4-6 months, but it could take up to a year for all of them to fall out. Check his mouth to see if there are any more puppy teeth, if there are, take him to the vet to get them removed. If you leave them in there, it will stunt the growth of the adult teeth or make them grow in crooked. Also the baby teeth could start to rot and decay because the dog's body will cut off all nutrients to the baby teeth and just concentrate on the adult teeth.
