the needle fish is dangerous and will grow big. that is a lot of aggression in a tank. i assume that tank is over 60 gal? needles need a lot of space. needles are best alone. a bunch of cichlids are fine together.

What size is the tank and what sizes are the fishes. If I were you I would not attempt it because the cichlids might chase or even eat the needle fish. Plus the needle fish will probably eat only live food which the cichlids will try to eat so the needle fish might starve if not eaten by the other fish.
