I have a nine month old JR and she is a tenacious fireball. Lots of persistence and energy, she's nuts. Wouldn't they be big trouble if they were a large breed?
Yikes a JR in a Dane body.. That is a very scary thought!

yup!!
although, may I recomend that you make your walks longer and faster for your pup. This will help calm her down and make her more relaxed and happy.

I have a 6 y/o JR female, who's a real piece of work! Clever, fast, hard as nails and protective. She does everything with such GUSTO, right? I've had her since 8 weeks and I swear she knows what I'm saying. For people who think they lay around like Eddie on Frasier, NOT! A lot of fun, but thank God they're the size they are! There would be a lot of human injuries from not getting out of the way of a Jack/German Shepherd Dog combo in time! Thanks for a fun question.

I had an engineer explain his theory on dogs to me. He believes that when God created dogs he alloted the same amount of "dogness" to every breed. Large dogs have a large body, and the dogness can spread out, therefore they tend to move slower and bark less often. Small dogs have all of that dogness crammed into a tiny little body, so they have to expend a lot of energy or else they will explode. Straight from a college educated engineer who builds nuclear missiles for a mojor US defense contractor.
