Training Jack Russells

Any tips for potty training a jack russel puppy?

We got her around Valentines day.
She still goes to the bathroom in the house.
We all hate picking up her messes!!!

Do have fence in backyard? leave her outside when our gone

you need a crate & use a phrase like do you need to go potty when its time to go out..reward with treats when she does good
when she does bad use a firm NO and put her in the crate for a time out.
its alot of work and patience good luck

If she poops in the house you could always put her nose in it. I heard that works and then take her out right away.

What we did with our dog is we let her out ever half hour because they have smaller bladders witch can't hold much in it so they need to go potty.

You can get a leash on and take her outside walk around the house until she goes potty and while walking say ''Get Relief'' or ''Go Potty'' to tell them what they need to do, When they go reward them with praise and treats and do that every day until your dog is one you can let her out ever hour then and reward.

If the dog does not go scold him and put her in her kennel until the next half hour. Pee-Pads are no help at all your dog doesn't even go on them! So don't use them.

    Good Luck!
