He's a rescue, had him about 1 1/2 months. I've tried using a spray water bottle, rewarding him with treats when he doesn't bark, using a can with pennies (making a loud noise), none of these work. I don't want to use a bark collar, i heard they don't work and it's not fair to the dog.
a citronella collar is totally harmless just irritating by spraying the dog in face. sometimes it works sometimes not worth a try. petsmart has training courses for 99 dollars too.

Does he listen to you ? not sure how old he is , but sometimes its just training them .

Well, you may have a problem there. Im sorry I cant help, but try "talking" to him. He's probably trying to get attention and keep loving him… dont give him up. I heard of some surgery that "takes away the bark" and makes them sound like whhhhhhh! Whhhhh! instead of woof woof. I dont reccomend it. it costs money and the dog might not like it. GOOD LUCK!!!
