Separate them and work with them separately. Limit their time together and keep it supervised. Don't allow one dog to dominate the other dog. Crate them separately at night. Train them separately.Spay and nether them so you don't have a big mixed mistake.

small dogs yap rather than bark you could try putting small pebbles in a plastic bottle don't fill to the top then when they yap shake the bottle at the same time telling them to be quiet though they are only young yet and that's what puppies do

I think they are young enough to be trained. If you are on a budget, buy a book that outlines a doggie etiquette program that you can implement yourself. If you can afford it, take them do a professional dog trainer. Dogs are very smart domesticated animals to begin with. With some proper training (that involves repetition and, often, rewards) - they can be trained to obey commands, including the "Quiet."

Hiya i have a little jack russell and the only way to stop her barking is to make a loud noise everytime she barks - it has lessened the barking but she still barks if someone is at the door its her breed.
Good luck

I would recommend going to a good trainer or puppy training class. There are also some great training books, It's Me Or The Dog is very good and goes through every aspect. All dog behaviour can be changed with persistance, but be prepared to put in a lot of work. As people have pointed out it is their nature to yap and takes a lot of positive reinforcement when they are not yapping with treats and perserverance on your part.

I have a yorkshire terrier who when she was younger would never stop yapping(It was awful!!!) The only way to stop your lot from barking would be to seperate them. If they Yap give them a stern look and, point your finger and say no.
Eventually there yap will turn into a nice bark!
Good luck!!!

I have a yorkie, when she was a puppy she wouldn't stop yapping. Its just natural for the two dogs to yap all the time. But to try to prevent them doing this all the time you can point your finger and ignore and dont pay attention to them seperating them this works in most cases and after a while put them together and hopefully the yapping will hyave stopped!!
Good luck,,,
