Hi I was thinking about getting a jack russell mix. It's mixed with Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retiever. I don't know if people've ever heard of this. But, anyways tell me how your jack russell shedding is and how to cut back on shedding. THANKS!
this kind of dog may shed more so then some breeds (such as poodles and shih tzus) but less so than others (dachsounds, samoyeds). truth is, all dogs shed, we lose hair too. however, if you brush him on a regular basis then he won't shed as badly.

it totally depends on what it is mixed with. jack russells shed eh….not very much i think but if they are mixed with nova scotia duck tolling retriever who both tend to shed a little it will shed. good luck and i hope you get your dream dog as i did mine!

Interesting combination. I bet that would be a great agility dog. Jack Russell’s do shed, the smoother coats I notice shed more. There are vitamins and shampoos that you can give your dog to help minimize shedding.
