Training Jack Russells

What would be the lifespan of my Jack-Russel/Dachshund cross?

I have a Jack Russel/ Sausage dog cross breed called Minnie. She is about 2 at the most. We recieved her in a kennel in Essex and i really want to know it's lifespan. We feed it well and gets alot of exercise.

They can live a long life,my mother has one that already is a 14year old puppy.Nothing stops her, she's acts the same as when she did when she was a young gal. They can live at least 20+years

Both JRTs and Dachshunds have good life spans. It is all according to the individual dog. You don't know, you can just guess. I would say 15 to 18 years.

    That is a GUESS.

Dogs are like people. Some live longer, some less. Exercise and good food as well as vet care can keep your dog at it's best. May Minnie have a long life.

I looked in my dog breed book and it says the life Span and a jack russel terrier is 10-15 years. And a Sausage dog (Dachshund) 12-15 years.
