thier man made and not a reconised breed (except parson jack russells are now reconised) thier great ratting dogs
they have a supper high prey drive and will go till they drop, they live longer than most dogs aswell

They are a hyper breed that needs lots of exercise. More than most dogs.

They are super hyper, and agressive, into everything, like a hyper kid. Hard to train, because of short atten span, just nutty dogs.

From the American Kennel Club Book… I have one, I don't know why… but from what I remember:
Jack Russell Terrier is a small breed hunting dog. They have an instinct like no other terrier. They have three different coat styles. They are sturdy tough dogs with feisty personality. They are not for all people, especially first time dog owners. They have incredible amounts of liveliness and energy. They were initially bred to hunt the red fox, their small build made them quick and maneuverable.
Other information I found:
They live between 11-18 years.
They need a lot of exercise, not for apartment-dwellers
they can be temperamental towards other animals and humans
they can be very loyal
they pretty much just have a Napoleon complex and are fearless.
Who said they aren't in this country's kennel club?
