i know jack is either taken with coke, straight up (with or without ice). but can i mix water in with jack, will that taste ok? ive had knob creek before, does it taste like that?
Yes, absolutely. I would suggest using distilled or bottled water to prevent any off flavor from the tap water. Even easier is to fill a rocks glass with ice and keep drinking Jack on the rocks until its watered down… of course by then you might be drunk, but there's no harm in that either.

or any catfish that i can mix?
I have kept Jacks with green terrors in a large tank AFTER they got a little size on them….maybe 4-5 inches. When smaller, they fight like 2 male Bettas. It may be when they get full grown they might get aggressive, but from experience I'd be willing to say they would be familiar with each other by then and do fine. For the record, the same thing holds true for a good many cichlids, I had to keep them separated by breed until they "reached puberty!"
ADDED: I forgot the question about catfish. I have always kept large plecos in cichlids tanks, just making sure they had a good place to hide if needed. Occasionally it wouldn't work out. but that was the exception. I'm trying to think, I believe it was banjo cats I used to keep with Dempseys and Africans. If it wasn't a Banjo, it was a similar looking fish……the name is slipping my old, tired mind. Ask your fish dealer about that.

My 6 1/2 week old Jack Russell mix growls and bites hard when shes hyper. Is this normal for teething puppies, or is the growling something I should be concerned about? Does this mean she will be aggressive in the future or is this normal puppy behavior?
my female chihuahua was the same way when she was a puppy, but she's super loveable now. *she turned 1 yr old yesterday*. she's still hyper, but she's learned not to bite. u just have to train your puppy not to bite.

When we bought her we were told she’s a full bred long haired jack russell terrier but we’re pretty convinced she’s got some type of mix in her. Most long haired jacks we’ve seen don’t have hair as excessive as hers. Any ideas?
Is she an actual Jack Russell Terrier? Or an English Jack Russell Terrier? (often called Shorties or puddin’s.)
Actually, a lot of long haired(known as roughs) Jrts can have hair that long. It normally happens if they aren’t groomed.
However, the majority of Jrts I see with hair that long are English Jack Russell Terriers (puddin; shorties)
She could be a full blood Jrt.

I’ve only had it in hot cocoa, and that was about three years ago. I just got a bottle for my 21st birthday (I’m not a heavy drinker so they didn’t get me drunk) and now I don’t know what to do with it!
Coke, Lemonade, and Sprite

He is a black, hyper Jack Russell/Schipperke mix that is generally very friendly. He is slightly non-social to other dogs, but not hateful to them in any way. I feel like he needs a dog companion to keep him company at times when we can't do that.
I have volunteered at an animal rescue for 8 years and we have found that people that adopt a Jack Russell, will normally want a second one just because they have so much energy that a whole army couldn't wear it out!!! Talk to a trainer or do some research on how to introduce another dog since you said he is a little unsocial. It could be fear and you do not want to push him or cause issues. There are right ways and wrong ways to introduce two dogs. Good luck with your energizer bunny with nuclear batteries!!!

i have three little jack dempseys and i was wondering what other kind of fish could i mix with them
* Compatibility….
o Jack Dempsey's do best in a species tank, or with other similarly sized fish of similar temperament.
o They do get quite aggressive, and stake out their territory. They are especially territorial when spawning.
o They are not backward about biting other fish if they see them as a threat to the territory.
o It has been reported that the Jack Dempseys' aggression tends to increase with water temperature.
o Combine with other large, hardy cichlids that can fend for themselves.
Ideas for suitable tankmates….
The fish listed below are indicative of the species that can be kept with this fish. Other fish may also be suitable - please ask us which other fish are compatible.

I have a Jack Russell mix Maltese and she's really cute. I don't get why they're ugly.
Here's a picture of her.

I don't really care, I was just wondering :P.
Yes, I know that people are entitled to their opinion now. =.= Oh well~Nevermind about the question.
you know, everyone has their own opinion and it may not match yours but as long as you are happy with your baby that is all that matters. sometimes only a mother can see the beauty… and by the way i think it is adorable.
