if so, what proportions should i use? when i melt the cheese alone it clumps up fast.
Thanks!
You will get similar results if you just mix it with milk, except the milk will be a scalded mess surrounding the clumped cheese. You can do is this: Mix 1 cup shredded cheese with 3/4 cup mayonaisse, or cream cheese and microwave on high for 2-3 minutes. Don't forget to standby and stir occasionally. Then microwave it for 30 second intervals until the cheese is thoroughly melted. This will give a creamy, thick sauce for dipping chips- not cheese sauce on macaroni.

i want to get a dog from a shelter that will be half jack russell. what should the other half be? something thats good with other dogs not TOO hyper(will calm the jack russell in it down a little) and wont roam? preferably smaller then the jack russell or same size no bigger?
I have two JRT mixes with chihuahua. They make wonderful dogs and there are several of them at the shelter. They are bit active in the AM but totally calm at night. You have to understand they they will want to sleep with you on your bed. It's best to have two, one male and female, so that they keep each other company, because one alone could have seperation anxiety especially if you work away from home for long hours which could lead to excessive barking in some dogs. My first dog did not have this problem, and as we unexpectedly adopted another, the first one is now so very happy to have a sister. They sleep, play and eat together and having two is no more work than one. I have recommended others to adopt the chi-jack mix and all say the same. Active in the AM and completely mellow at night. You will enjoy this mix as they make great pets, easy to care for, good with kids and compact enough to take with you.

I've had her to Vets and they always say, squirt this ear rinse in and massage it in once a day and give her the ointment (4 drops) twice a day for 7 days and also massage it into her inner ear. I have been doing this off and on for almost 3 years now and her infection always comes back after a few days. Poor thing has me worried and she cries when she scratches her ear.
Chronic recurring ear infections are a sure sign of a food allergy.
Top allergens are beef, corn, chicken, wheat, soy and dairy - but any dog can be allergic to any food…
Try Nutro Natural Choice lamb & rice formula - sometimes it;s that easy… transfer him over just three kibble per day, and wait another week to see if things start to calm down. It can be even slower than that, but you should see a bit of improvement soon.
Otehr possibilities include the Wellness line of foods, they have a completely grain-free line, and many allergy dogs do well on their Atlantic whitefish and sweetpotato kibble. But the allergy is your underlying cause - I'm sure of it.
In the meantime, try Zymox Otic for his ears - it needs to be used alone, but is very soothing and will kill just about everything that could be growing in there - it's just glycerine, zinc and enzymes. You should find they clear up in a few days at the most, and it's safe to use all the time.

he's a jack with something else because he has his whole tail (unless they are docked? i dont know?)
anyways, i'm wondering how i can determine how old he is…
i dont really know how big they get or anything. i'm familiar with larger dogs as i have german shepherds. i'm also wondering where a good place to put an add would be.
Jacks do have docked tails, so it's possible he just was left with his "factory equipment". Is it a puppy, or an adult? You can get a very vague ball park by checking teeth….if it still has it's puppy canines, it's probably younger than 4 months. If it shows a lot of wear, canines worn, possibly tarter build up, it's probably more of an aged dog….but that's not a 100% sure fire thing….some dogs are harder on their mouths than others.

He can be aggressive Boston when he has got a toy or a bone I think thats the Jack Russell in him but he loves a cuddles.
I have a Jug or a Jack Pug but the only pug in him is his build…..its so weird his markings his personality his traits are all jack but here is the muscular dog that stances like a pug with a few wrinkles on his forehead. it is so funny. and Shitzapoo (shitzu poodle) GSD mix..that was big and a scary birth.

She knows sit, stay, speak, lay down, bring it (like bring her toy), paw, come,…. what are some tricks and how do you train them the trick?
I have a 10 month old Yorkie and we have trained her to do all kinds of things. Some that we came up with are high five(with one and two paws, wave, sit pretty, and give kisses. the easiest way for us was with treats. Small ones. that you can close in your hand. We teach her to do things by showing her how over and over again, with a treat each time, and she eventually gets it. For some more ideas look up dog tricks on utube, and Good luck!

I have recently added a young male Jack Russel/Chiuaua mix to my family. He came to me with a limp. He raises his right hind leg only when he runs. Our very competent vet did not seem concerned about it. I have seen a lot of Chiuaua's doing this. Is it just a trait or should I consider getting xrays?
Limping is not a "trait" of any breed of dog. It can indicate an injury, a hereditary problem (such as bad knees or hips), or can simply be a strange quirk the dog has. If it is a mild injury, it may or may not get better without medical attention over time. Sometimes, if the dog pulled something for example, it may just need a few days to heal, like a person. But if the injury continues for more than 2 or 3 days or if the dog seems extremely painful, he should see a veterinarian. You did not mention if he is having any pain….Did your veterinarian palpate his knees or hips to check for any displacement? If he does not seem in pain and your veterinarian has thoroughly checked him out, it's ultimately up to you what you think needs to be done. It may simply be a strange habit the dog has, like I already mentioned, but some people would prefer to do radiographs just for "peace of mind." If they come back normal, you know for future-reference that it's nothing to be concerned about. Hope this helps
