i tried chum and pedigreed. but he loves those smacko stuff/ treats.
but he doesnt eat. what can i add to it?
he neer eats these can stuff. or even those small black round dog food.
Change is his diet. Pedigree is not a healthy food what so ever. I don't blame him for not eating it. I would go with a non grain and no meat by-product food like Wellness, Wysong, Merrick.. They all are healthy foods. You can add canned Pumpkin and make sure that it's not spiced. Just a spoon full. It has a lot of nutrien and vitamins in it.
If you can buy it at a grocery store or Walmart it's not a high quality food. I like Merrick because you can add warm water to it and it turns into a gravey with the food. It has no grains and no meat by-products.

Today or yesterday my jack russel dog lost one of his front teeth - the very middle one right at the front. He seems to be eating okay but I am just wondering…is this normal ?
If they weren’t baby teeth then no, this is not normal. Consider a vets visit.

i have a year old jack russel milo 
and a 11 year old yorkie mix toby
when i go out with my doggies other dogs of all breeds always start and growl at my milo and he dosent growl at them or anything, does any one know why they could be starting on him is it some sort of feeling they get from him maybe is breed or age maybe because hes male? this is becoming a bit of a prob.
because most dogs always growl at milo never toby i really do not know how to deal with this because milo never shows aggression or even when the other doggies start so how can i correct this if its other dogs????????
. he had a very bad and abusive past i rescued him could other dogs sense something from that? but
my milo is very friendly and very quiet and wags his tail when he sees other dogs so hes not afraid of them
i think my poor milo is billy no mates :S lol anyway..
anyone else experienced this im very sorry if this question is strange or confusing.

They could sense anxiety from him. I rescued a Westie and she is the opposite (food aggresion, can turn on another dog quick w/out warning if she does not like it). You just have to retrain, socialize Milo as much as possible (start with one or two neighbor dogs), and learn the body language to watch for. Dogs work things out amongst themselves — its the humans who don’t understand.

My friend has one named Bhodi and he's unfencable. So far we've watched him…
A) Tunnel his way out
B) open the latch by jumping up and hitting it with his nose
C) propping his back legs in the chain links and climbing up a tree with his front paws. He climbs up the bark a few inches then steps up his back legs one at a time until he reaches the top… then he jumps off the fence onto the side of the tree, doublesback midair and kicks off the tree to flip back over the fence.

When it comes to any other animals or people my jackrussel tries to attack, and then my pit bull feeds off that energy and tries to attack. Thats only when they are outside. When they are inside and calm they are good dogs that do tricks and stuff.
the aggression is typical in some dogs… the thing is just like wolves, they need to show that hey i am the boss… i have the same situation, what i have done is when my dogs are around another dog, they are both muzzled, they will get the picture that's going to happen some dogs will calm down, but others don't.. as for people i try to introduce them slowly, what i do is put them in another room let the person come in and sit, and give them a couple treats, my one dog has no problem with that but my male will growl and bark, and i tell the person to show no fear dogs can smell that, he eventually comes around… but there are other reasons for dogs not liking someone, they have these senses about certain people and they don't like them… another thing do not hit or yell at the dog, what you do is leave it alone in another room by themselves, dogs do not like to be ignored, i have gotten this out of a dog book, i hope this helps… good luck

i really want a small dog and jack russel is ideal,but my husband says that we cannot have one because it will kill the 2 cats we have.is this true,even from a puppy,or would it get used to them. i know there is other small dogs but there all too expensive.and i really like the jack russel.
JRs do kill small animals. That doesn't mean that each and everyone of them will. And it is worse when they are in a pack rather than single. Bostons kill small animals too. Since there are two cats in your home they are probably safer than if there was one cat and two JRs.

What could this be? Someone said maybe 'hives'. They both seem to be particularly uncomfortable around their bums! LOL! They keep itching and biting at it. Obviously, it is painful for them both. They have been checked several times for fleas and there is nothing! Could it be something in the long grass I walk them trough? I have checked for ticks too and there are none, but WHAT ARE HIVES? Thanks for your help…..x

Did you check their butts for fleas? Dogs can get localized flea populations.
They can have flea bite allergies from just ONE bite. they don't have to "have fleas" to have a flea bit allergic reaction.
Fleas are in the grass so it's not impossible for dogs to pick them up suddenely.
Bathe them in cool water - no soap. If it is environmental - like areaction to a soap, fabric softener, pollen or something, it will help.
Food allergies are less common, but improving the diet will help them with any kind of allergy. Innova Evo is a good brand.
Supplementing whatever food with salmon oil and vitamin E will go a long ways towards reducing skin reactions.
