The vets havnt said what it is and prescribed antibiotics, this hasnt cured the problem. I bath him every week, smell comes back after only couple of days. Why?

Change his food to something non-allergic like the Fish and Chips from http://www.frrco.com/121668 This will help with his skin and coat.

Do not bathe him to often, or he will have dry skin and produce more oil.

After bathing him, rinse him with a water/white vinegar solution and rinse thouroughly.

Between baths, brush him. You can also buy in between bath wipes and doggie colognes…

My 6 1/2 week old Jack Russell mix growls and bites hard when shes hyper. Is this normal for teething puppies, or is the growling something I should be concerned about? Does this mean she will be aggressive in the future or is this normal puppy behavior?

my female chihuahua was the same way when she was a puppy, but she's super loveable now. *she turned 1 yr old yesterday*. she's still hyper, but she's learned not to bite. u just have to train your puppy not to bite.

I don't want to breed my Jack Russell but I do want to know how often she will come into season so I can be prepared and also on the off chance that she does get cought because I was unaware of when she is due into season I would like to know what I will be dealing with.

blimey what jack russels do you lot know, average for a jack is 4 possibly 5, and bitches are in season for up to 3wks, they bleed for up to 11 days are normally mated on the 12th and 14th day, they come into season around about every 6/7 months.

Well, hopefully there aren't any breeders out there crossing these breeds on purpose. If you want one of these because your Friend, neighbor, uncle, etc… has one keep in mind that you probably won't get the same dog they have. It's a cross with no breed standards so you'll just be getting whatever. There are many jack russell crosses and yorkie crosses on petfinder.com take everyone's advise and go there.

I have a 6 month old female jack russel terrior and I tried trainning her a little bit today, and she jumped over some small things, but I need to no at what age would be just right for her to be trainned agility at? Please and thankyou!

I started my pom in beginner agility at 8 months. Kept it fun, no pressure. But she had gone thru basic obedience first.
Keep the jumps low and not a lot of repetitive jumping until his joints are stronger.

The rabbit has free run of the garden and comes into the house. iIhave been given different views by different people on whether to introduce them. One says introduce them when puppy is young and everything will be ok, others say it is a jack russells instinct to attack rabbits so keep them apart. What do I do?

how funny. i think that if the dog grows with the rabbit around it's ok. they'll become friends.

I’m looking for somewhere I could possible get a puppy for under $400 within 100 miles of the very Northeast corner of Texas.

In Northeast Texas.. there's Daydream Kennels, and our kennel Krystal Kourt. Daydream kennels has excellent dogs. They are hunting dogs, they are show dogs. They're proven, tested, shown, etc.

Our dogs are just the same.

We got 2 of our dogs from them. Right now, we have no current litters. But they do. They're probably the best breeders you can find in your area.

If you want a hyper dog, I'd suggest the JRT. Pugs are *awesome* pets, but they aren't hyper at all.
