you can buy an automatic fish feeder, they are fairly cheap and you can pick them up at your local pet store. and they will usually feed your fish every 12 or 24 hours… they work well… if it were me i would still give somone my key and ask them to check on my fish, and my house in general, and do stuff like get the mail…. but with the feeder your fish will do fine… they also sell extended feeders made specifically for that and you just drop them in the tank and the fish feed off them, and i dont know if they make one for 14 days, you can look. i know they make em for like 10…. good luck, hope it helps…

Im curious as to which one is easier to keep in an apartment….i keep hearing bad things bout beagles in apartments while jack russell terriers seem to be ok
well i will say this i have a JRT and she is fine in my apartment but I have heard horror stories about them destroying the place while alone. i have heard that they have chewed through walls, pulled up carpets, destroyed sofas. you name it, its probably been done. however i spend a lot of time exercising mine and crate her when i am not at home. with my situation she is almost never left in the apartment for more than a couple hours by herself. i work nights and my boyfriend works days so she always has someone there. however beagles are also not really that great of an apartment dog. i would do more research on both of these breeds before getting one. look for something a little calmer, a breed that doesnt have quite as much energy and can handle living in an apartment quite well. there are sites that will help you choose a breed. king charles spaniels are a great breed that doesnt get too big. good luck and i hope you find the dog for you

Hi I was thinking about getting a jack russell mix. It's mixed with Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retiever. I don't know if people've ever heard of this. But, anyways tell me how your jack russell shedding is and how to cut back on shedding. THANKS!
this kind of dog may shed more so then some breeds (such as poodles and shih tzus) but less so than others (dachsounds, samoyeds). truth is, all dogs shed, we lose hair too. however, if you brush him on a regular basis then he won't shed as badly.

There is an old 5 gal.can about 1/2 full of a silver substance that the former owner left outside my shed but the label is all coated which, I wonder if it's what is on the roof now. I am a 70 year old widow who bought the mobile home last August and a former roofing inspector mentioned last year that the roof should be sealed at the seams. I haven't been able to find anyone in Sonora, CA yet who has time or available ones who have given me a price less than $800. just to have it sealed at the seams. I don't know what the cost should be for a job like that either.
If that can of silver coating is old, it should be discarded.
We use this type of coating on our roof. It works very well, but it is expensive. $800 is a fair price to have the coating applied. The job is messy.
At 70 years old, do you want to be climbing up onto the roof? Call your local senior center to see if they have a list of contractors who offer special discounts for senior citizens.

Training a Jack Russell can be a hard job to do, but not if you have the right tools to do it with. Steve of Sit Stay sure knows what he is talking about. He can help you train your Jack Russell in a flash. Of course you will have to do the work for it to actually work,
Steve even talks about why it’s a bad idea to use the work “Come” when a Jack Russell is in trouble.
His course gives you everything you will ever need to know in training a Jack Russell.
Then there are testionals from other owners of Jack Russell’s that talk about their problems with their
Jacks and how Steve’s course helped them.
If you would just go and check out Steve’s Course “SitStayFetch” . There is a free mini course, just for checking out the site.
